Â
đQuestion:
HOW TRAVEL BEGAN ??
Â
đŻAnswer:
TRAVEL as an act of moving from one place to another, using a particular mode of conveyance (transportation) to cover the distance between point A and point B in order to achieve the reasons for embarking on the journey has been from time immemorial; from the beginning. We walk! Ancient men went on trips, journeys and travels walking the distance.
Â
Utilizing the widest definition of the word, human beings have been travelling since the dawn of time.
Â
Regardless of diverse adopted beliefs about the creation of humans, we all accept that mankind species began in some locale, likely Africa or the Middle East, and âtravelledâ outwards, discovering new lands and settling therein away from the localities originally known to them as homeland. However, most of this âtravelâ was done out of necessity (food, water, shelter, warm climate, arable farming lands, lush greenery for livestock, security) and war often without the intent of returning.
Â
The modes and means of traveling improved as well with the domestication of animals such as horses, donkeys, camels etc, to construction of paths and then roads, to carts, caravans, stagecoaches, rafts, canoes, boats and sailing ships, to passenger trains, to buses, to helicopters, aircraft, and several innovative service technology becoming more accessible and common over the years to date; travels continues to leap.
